先週の火曜日にRuby Roomに僕を観に来て下さった方、ライブを楽しんで下さった方(、ありがとうございました。
急遽ANTONをドラマーに迎えたライブ。
すご～く盛り上がりましたね。
僕も楽しかったです。
そして素晴らしいミュージシャンとの出逢いもありました。
何てありがたい。
火曜日のRubyは魔法が渦巻く場所なのでしょう。
今日はスタジオで、明日奏でるべく新しいサウンドを模索していました。
1人でスタジオに入る時は曲をただ弾き語るのではなく、殆どの時間をサウンドの模索、実験に費やしています。
偶然不思議なサウンドが生まれて、それが自分の曲とマッチした時に最高の喜びを感じます。
エレクトリックギターのストレートなサウンドも大好きだけれど、物凄くエフェクティブなサウンドも大好きだ。
この感覚が自分のトーンの「売り」だと自負しています。
因みにRubyのopen mic nightは、僕のサウンドの実験の場所でもあるので毎回機材の組み合わせは違うのです。
「少ないペダルで最大の効果を」は毎週共通していますが。

明日はドラマーとのコラボレートは無く、正真正銘のHIROKI SOLOでのパフォーマンスを披露します。
久しぶりに椅子に腰掛けて、かなり神経質でサイケデリックでブルージーなギターじっくりと弾きながら歌うライブをお見せしようと思っています。
でもセットリストはステージ直前まで決めません。
Rubyのopen micでは殆どのステージでこうしています。
曲が少ないから、その場の雰囲気(毎回全く異なる)を感じながらステージでセッティング中に楽しく決めています。
とにかく明日は先週みたいに外向きのエネルギーのライブではない、もっと内省的でダークで、じっくりと聴き入っていただくようなライブを披露しようと思っています。

このディストーションは最高だ。
ファズっぽさも出せるし、当然(僕の好みの)ギターのボリュームをロールダウンさせればクリーントーンも出る。
先週久しぶりに使ったら、とてもクールだったから今週もスタメン入り決定！

Ruby on Tuesday is a place where magic swirls.
Today at the studio, I was looking for a new sound to play against tomorrow.
When I join the studio alone, I do not just tune my songs and spend most of my time exploring the sound and experimenting.
It is by chance that a magical sound is born and I feel the highest pleasure when it matches my song. What
I also like the straight sound of electric guitar, but I also love the tremendously effective sound.
I am proud that this feeling is "selling" of my tone.
By the way Ruby 's open mic night is also a place to experiment with my sound
Each time the combination of equipment is different.
Although "the maximum effect with little pedal" is common every week.

I'm planning to sit on a chair for the first time in a long while, singing pretty nervously, and psychedelic and bluesy guitar singing singing carefully.
But the set list is until just before the stage
I'll not decide.
This is done in most stages in Ruby's open mic.
Because there are few songs, I feel happy with the atmosphere of the place (completely different each time), I am happy deciding on stage setting.
Anyway tomorrow I'll try to show off live like listening more carefully, more introspective, dark, not externally live energy like to last week.
